1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Evida Life platform, operated by Evida Life AG, Zurich, Switzerland ('Evida Life', 'we', 'us'). By registering or using the platform, you accept these terms.

2. Service description

Evida Life is a digital health platform offering the following features:

• Biomarker tracking — self-entered values; automated import from ISO-accredited partner labs once partnerships go live
• Evida habit tracker with Daily Dozen, 21 Tweaks, Anti-Aging 8 and custom habits
• Plant-based recipe database with evidence-based nutritional recommendations
• Evidence-based health articles and lifestyle lessons
• AI-powered health coach and research assistant

3. User accounts

Use of the platform requires registration with a valid email address. You are responsible for the security of your account and the confidentiality of your password. Please notify us immediately of any signs of unauthorised use.

Minimum age

The platform is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. By registering, you confirm that you have reached the minimum age.

4. Health disclaimer

The information, lab evaluations, and nutritional recommendations provided on Evida Life are for informational purposes only and do not replace medical or nutritional advice. Please always consult a specialist for health questions or complaints.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content created by Evida Life (texts, graphics, recipes, articles) is protected by copyright. Reproduction or distribution without express permission is prohibited.

Content you upload yourself (e.g. lab reports) remains your property. You grant us the right to process it solely to provide our services.

6. Prohibited use

It is prohibited to use the platform to:

• distribute illegal content
• harass or harm other users
• compromise the security or integrity of the platform
• conduct automated queries without written permission

7. Availability and liability

We strive to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by Swiss law, we are not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control (upstream provider outages, force majeure), loss of data that users could reasonably have backed up, or indirect and consequential damages. Liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or willful misconduct remains unaffected. Users are solely responsible for medical decisions made on the basis of information from the platform — always consult a qualified specialist.

8. Pricing and subscriptions

Evida Life is offered as a Free tier plus paid tiers — currently Starter (€2.99/month) and Premium (€7.99/month); exact feature mapping is listed at /pricing. Paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no pro-rata refund is given for partial months. All prices include applicable Swiss VAT where charged. Consumers resident in the EU/EEA have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services; by actively using paid features before that period ends you consent to immediate performance, which may shorten the withdrawal right (Art. 16(a) Directive 2011/83/EU). Refunds outside these provisions are at our reasonable discretion.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time without giving reasons. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in cases of serious violations of these terms.

10. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
